We make memories in special places with the people we love.  I welcome requests for commissioned work. A landscape or special place can gain deeper meaning lasts when it is interpreted through art.

The Cornish family cottage. Created from an old photo, this picture remembers the cottage as it was before recent renovations. The work incorporates a piece of the client's wedding dress as the curtain in the window. A special gift to their children.

A commission does require discussion to explore the vision, as well as planning and research on my part to execute that vision. I invite clients to think about the finished size and framing treatment. Usually I work from photos, even several photos that help me see the scene, the building or other subject.  On occasion, a client supplies fabric of personal significance.  The picture becomes a remembrance of a family member and a keepsake to enjoy and pass along.  Commissioned works generally take more time and this is reflected in the cost. The result  ― a one-of-a-kind piece you will value.​
